Abstract EN

Studies on Algeria conducted by postgraduate students in Turkish universities are of great importance in historical studies on the history of relations between Algeria and Turkey at different periods.

This study aims to highlight the interest of Turkish Academic institutions in Algeria and the extent to which these studies contribute to the diagnosis and analysis of the different aspects of cultural, social, political, military and historical relations between the two countries.

The study was not limited to the next stage of Algeria’s independence.

Rather, the period prior to that is included.

Either in the colonial period of Algeria history or in the Ottoman period of modern Algerian history.

The author has attempted to cover a half-century of completed university studies, from1962 to 2012.

To diagnose this, this period was chosen because we found no thesis completed in Turkish universities before 1962, that is, before the independence of Algeria, with the exception of doctoral thesis, referenced instead of this article .therefore, the date of Algerian independence was considered the year 1962 as the beginning of the study, which will be stopped in 2015.
