Abstract EN

First and foremost, it is possible to recognize that the private health services sector takes as one of the most important sectors in consideration of importance of the health sector originally, additionally to its assistant role as a supporter to the public sector.

So it was very important to identify the best ways to evaluate the performance of this private sector including the financial and nonfinancial indicators according to the recent transmissions of performance evaluation.

Accordingly, this paper aims to identify the role of balanced scorecard (BSC) as a one of the recent strategic tolls, and the extent of ability of implementing this toll in the private hospitals in Libya.

The sample of study was confined to the ones which stated in Benghazi city, furthermore that present the admission service.

Consequently, the sample of study consists of (6) hospitals, moreover targeted three categories like following: administration –employees – customers.

As result, the most important results which have stated by study were: the Libyan private hospitals have a considered vision and mission alike, but they need some adjustments to be uniformed with recent performance correction tolls like Balanced Scorecard, due to there is a motivated environment allows to applying these tolls.

Finally, the study has recommended that the necessity of increasing of the administration and employee's awareness to the importance of these creative tolls in performance correction.
