Summary: The Algerian legislator has distinguished national sports federations, including the Algerian Football Federation, with prerogatives that allow them to accomplish the public service mission that they acquire through their recognition of the public utility and the general interest.

In this context, Law No.

13-05, of July 23, 2013, included the areas of delegation of public service tasks which are guaranteed and practiced by the National Sports Federation, the procedures for ministerial delegation of public service and the granting of recognition of the public utility and the general interest, as well as the situations which lead to the withdrawal of these privileges and their consequences.
