Abstract EN

The idea of reducing punishments has resulted in shaping new borders of criminal policy by reaching the main target which is putting an end to crimes.

Such an idea had first been figured out in Bilajio Conference, that dealt with criminology and punishment, in 1973; punishment reducing policy contributed to reaching the purposes of penalties since the emergence of the Islamic legislation.

So, our work highlights the main mechanisms of such a process.

We have deduced, depending on suspicious, repentance, and pardons theory that the Islamic legislation has presented an integrated policy of reducing punishments.
