Abstract EN

The current study aimed to reveal the financial management challenges facing the municipality of Liwa Al Muwaqar as seen by the heads of departments and members of the municipal council in the municipality of Liwa Al Muwaqar, the capital governorate.

The study used the descriptive survey method, and to achieve this the researcher designed a questionnaire consisting of (35) items It was divided into five areas, and it was applied to all members of the study community, which amounted to (35), with (18) department heads and (17) members.

The results indicated that the degree of financial management challenges facing the Liwa Al-Muwaqar municipality as seen by the heads of departments and members of the municipal council, In the field of administrative challenges, they came to a very high degree, while they came in the areas of laws and legislation, regulatory factors, information technology, and the availability of efficiency in the human element at a high degree.

As seen by the heads of departments and members of the Municipal Council in the municipality of Liwa Al-Muwaqar, it is attributed to the variable of gender and educational qualification.
