Various successive international events have proven the deterioration of the role of the UN Security Council, and its ineffectiveness in maintaining international peace and security, which made many countries demand the development of the United Nations in general and the Security Council in particular, both in terms of composition or competence.

Therefore, thinking about reforming the Council International security is not a nascent idea today, but it is the result of very old calls that tried to be renewed at the present time, and we believe that in order to be able to reform and improve the performance of the UN Security Council in a fundamental and effective way, we must know the obstacles that prevented the establishment of the UN Security Council By achieving the goals for which it was found, represented in the maintenance and preservation of international peace and security, then we move to the next step, which is the task of the reform process, by presenting the necessary and appropriate proposals to address every defect that exposes and mars the work and performance of the UN Security Council.
