The present research paper aims at defining the effects of the Corona pandemic on work contracts of professional athletes.

Views about this issue have fluctuated about considering it an unforeseeable compulsion or an emergency circumstance, albeit at the sports level, specifically the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), it has been asserted that it is considered a force majeure.

Thus far, such epidemiological situation is still continuing, as it cannot be olutely certain that it is a force majeure.

That is, each case should be considered separately, and the solution is to coexist with the Covid-19 pandemic.
