The paper seeks to derive editorial criteria from the story of Moses, and Pharaoh contained in the Holy Qur’an, to benefit from them in editing and formulating the news story, because the stories of the Holy Qur’an are vital, realistic and effective in the hearts of those who read it or listen to it, besides the devotional value, and the importance of linking human sciences with meanings And the indications contained in the Holy Quran.

The study focused on the main question: Why do journalists not benefit from the skills and arts of telling, which is the vibrant stories of the Holy Qur’an until the Day of Judgment, in editing their news stories? It used the descriptive method, which is based on an in-depth study of a specific case, and tends to collect and analyze scientific data related to any unit; as the most appropriate for such a study.

It used content analysis as a tool to obtain and analyze information and elicit semantics and value; Which is used in editing the news story.

The study concluded: the importance of suspense while instilling hope in the readers of the news story, commitment to conveying and depicting the facts in multiple contexts (realism, fragmentation), and the participation of the addressee in completing the blanks of these images in the news story with the power of imagination.

A preference for highlighting the characters, places and times with their inherent characteristics rather than by their names; Not mentioning the names of women and children as possible in the news story.

Diversifying the methods of describing events and basic issues that need to form a public opinion about them, through narration and dialogue, and linking them, using the word (saying) and its derivatives, which are the strongest and most eloquent linking verbs in journalistic writing.
