Abstract EN

The Study aimed to reveal the opinions of postgraduate Stu- dents in the Department of Psychology at Umm Al-Qura Uni- versity in distance education, and to achieve this, the researcher chose to conduct this study in a qualitative manner, which is the phenomenological method (by employing the interview method) to obtain more details and a deeper understanding on this issue .

Where interviews were conducted to obtain the necessary data with (8) students from Umm Al-Qura University in the firSt semes ter of the academic year (1442 AH).

The importance of this study is to contribute directly to the development of this type of learning, as it will contribute to enriching the literature related to distance learning because of its reliance on the qualitative phenomeno- logical approach, especially since there is a scarcity of research used for the qualitative curriculum, especially distance education.

The results of the Study indicated the need to train students and course professors on technical knowledge and how to deal with educational platforms that are used in distance learning.

And their good motivation towards distance learning.

Finally, emphasizing the necessity of applying distance education to university Students, because it is considered one of the skills of the twenty-first century
