This paper investigates the context and its importance, by shedding light on the relationship between the syntax, and the meaning through the effect of context in meaning of the wordThe paper found that it’s difficult to understand the meaning of the word unless we determine it in context.The paper aims to reveal the Strong relationship between the context in its two parts, lin- guistic and maqam, and between meaning, and its importance is to highlight the role of the semantic context by analyzing a set of examples from the Noble Prophetic hadith and clarifying the ele- ments of the linguistic and maqam context and their association with meaning.The researcher chose the descriptive approach for its relevance and the nature of the Study, and the paper conclud- ed with several results, most notably: the ancient Arabic scholars Studied the context in an extensive Study, and they Stood on its importance.
