Abstract EN

The study examined the role of financial engineering tools in reducing the financial risks; the problem of the study was in the main question: what is the role of financial engineering tools in reducing the financial risks? The study aimed to identify the instruments of financial engineering through conccpt, picccs and policies, and to learn about the most widely used financial engineering tools.

The important of the study is that it provides banks managers with financial engineering tools to help in reducing of financial risks; the study assists decision makers in finding solutions to the risks to institutions.

The study tested the following hypotheses: The first hypothesis: there is a statistically significant relationship between financial engineering tools and credit risk, the second hypothesis: there is a statistically significant relationship between financial engineering tools and liquidity risks.

The study reachcd a set of results, including: The application of financial engineering tools leads to a reduction in credit risks, liquidity risks, interest rate risks and foreign exchange risks.

Financial engineering provides effective information that is capable of facing financial risks, the information provided by financial engineering helps in creating new financing tools, and providing radical solutions to financial risks .
