Abstract EN

The paper dealt with the impact of fluctuations in the exchange rate of the Sudanese pound on Sudanese exports during the period (19902020-)‘as it aimed to know the relationship between the exchange rate and Sudanese exports during the study period‘ This is due to importance of determining standard model for the exchange rate in Sudan‘The statistical method was used by applying the ordinary least squares(OLS) method to estimate the model for data collected from the Central Bank of Sudan annual reports.

The results showed that there is a significant relationship between the exchange rate and Sudanese exports during the study period‘Also‘changes in the exchange rate of the Sudanese pound lead to changes in the relative prices of locally produced goods‘which leads to a rise in the prices of Sudanese exports‘in addition to the fact that there are institutional‘economic and technical constraints that the export sector suffers from.
