Abstract EN

This study is aimed to find out the role played by microfinance inThe purpose of development of local communities in Sudan, by applying it to the state of East Darfur.

The main problem is to know the extent to which microfinance contributes to the development of the local community by knowing its role in improving the standard of living in Sudan.

The study assumes the exigence of a positive, statistically significant relationship between microfinance and poverty rates, and that microfinance leads to an improvement in the standard of living in Sudan.

To test this hypothesis, the study used data collected by means of a questionnaire distributed to the members of the study sample.

The study relied on the historical method, the analytical descriptive method, and the statistical method (SPSS).

Unemployment recommendations, microfinance leads to improving the standard of living, microfinance contributes to increasing monthly income and improving the living situation of clients’ families.

How to choose the appropriate projects for them, how to prepare a feasibility study and manage projects, take care of the women’s sector, students and graduates and provide the necessary funding for their activities, reconsider the guarantees used in financing to suit the conditions of the poor and the nature of their activities, innovate the types of guarantees that suit the conditions of the poor, craftsmen, women and youth in particular The collective security system is similar to the Qarameen Bank experience.
