Abstract EN

The gazalla Gawazzet research project for animal husbandry and pasture improvement is located in the state of East Darfur ,the locality of Asalaya, the administrative unit of Kilikal Abu Salama, it is 24 km north of El Daein city.

The project area is 20 square miles, it is fenced with barbed wire , it also contains all kinds of soil for the purposes of research and mixed agriculture of all kinds ,it is considered one of the larged research Nations for animal production in Sudan, as it is located in the centre of livestock in southern and eastern Darfur ,the Baggara Rizeigat, Habbaniyah, and Misseriya areas in an area geographically attached to the Rizeigat badia, the project has effectively contributed to the implementation of the planned objectives in the field of contributed to creating a productive and cooperative society, and increase cultural social and sports awareness ,the importance of the research stems from the diminishing role of this project in recent years for several reasons, the most important of which is the central dependency of the project and its distance from the center in Khartoum, in addition to the lack of funding, then the emergence of the security problem in the states of Darfur and other reasons that all contributed to the decline the projects role , the researcher followed the analytical and descriptive approach to come up with the conclusion that the role of the project has shifted from a research project with planned goals ,to a project with a traditional style, due to the apparent neglect by the center and from the recommendations came to confirm the importance of this project and revive its productive developmental and vital role
