This research dealt with the morphology of the city of Shambat in terms of its plan, forms of growth and its internal structure.

The methods used by the researcher in this research are the survey and analytical method and the contemporary scientific method.

The importance of thisresearchit to show the morphology of the city of shambat and the aim of it is to knowledge the morphology of shambatin term of it is plan and forms of growth and itisinternalstructure The researcher relied on field work.

The most important findings of the research are that the plan of the city is random in its old parts “Sham bat Al Hilla” As for the extension of Shambat, it has grown in a planned growth and the grid plan with right angles was applied...

The most important recommendations of this research we should work on re-planning the old parts of the city of Shambat Al Hilla, which grew randomly, we should put laws that prevent encroachment on the city’s land and random construction, and to prevent expansion and urbanization on agricultural lands and to separate the industrial area from the residential area and that The development of services and public utilities so that we can keep pace with this large filling of housing and population, and the development of the main uses of the land and other uses.
