The paper entitled “The Quranic Intertextuality in Amal Al Laylwa Baladah” a novel by Ibrahim Ishaq.

The study aimed to underpin types of the Quranic intertextuality exploited by the writer in his work.

The study has also tended to highlight the role of intertextuality in formulating narrative techniques and to what extern this has helped the writer to design his themes.

The study has adopted have adopted descriptive integrated method and arrived at the following: The writer has used total and partial embedding of the Quranic intertextuality in his novel.

The use of some Quarnic words and construction is clear evidence of this technique.

The study has also concluded that intertextual relationship followed in the novel indicates that the writer has skillfully availed of the Quranic text and used in a manner that goes in line with his motives and reasons for using this technique.
