Abstract EN

The study aimed at understanding the effectiveness of (synchronous and asynchronous) online discussions in the Blackboard learning management System learning on enhancing the Digital skills of the female students of the Faculty of Education in University Hail.

The sample consisted of (41) female students.

The semi- experimental method was used in the study.

The tools of the study were the standard achievement test to measure the students’ knowledge and the observation card to measure the practical side.

The study concluded with some findings as follows: A statistically significant difference at the significant level (α ≥ 0.05) among the average degrees of students in both experimental groups before and after the application of the standard achievement test and observation card in favor of the after application for both groups.

As well, another statistically significant difference at the significant level (α≥ 0.05) among the average degrees of students in both experimental groups during the after application of the standard achievement test and observation card in favor of the second experimental group (asynchronous discussion).
