The study aimed to reveal the degree of marital adjustment among working and non-working women, and the arrangement of marital adjustment factors from their point of view, and to reveal the nature of the differences in marital adjustment between working and non-working women, according to several variables; The sample consisted of (411) married women by (199) working women in addition to (210) non-working women.

Depending on the descriptive approach, the researchers used a measure of marital adjustment from their preparation after checking their psychometric properties by appropriate scientific and statistical methods.

the most important results were: • The degree of marital adjustment among working women was high, and its dimensions were arranged as follows: social adjustment, economic adjustment, emotional adjustment, family adjustment, and intellectual adjustment.

• The degree of marital adjustment among non-working women was average and the dimensions of the arrangement were as follows: family adjustment, economic adjustment, emotional adjustment, social adjustment, and intellectual adjustment.

• There are statistically significant differences in marital adjustment between working and non-working women in favor of working women according to the following variables: age group, educational qualification, nature of housing, age at marriage, number of children, number of years of marriage The researchers made several recommendations, the most important of which were: more attention to the empowerment of working and non-working women through education and training on daily and family life skills.
