Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to compare the method of bisection and the method of modified bisection, to solve non-linear equations by numerical methods to find the root of the equation, through definitions, theories and examples, and we conclude through that that to solve non-linear equations we use the modified bisection method directly because it converges with the values of the root quickly and accurately and with the leaf number of iterations and also It is characterized by its validity and applicability to all categories of problems in non-linear equations.

As for the bisection method, its advantage is its reliability, but the disadvantage of this method is that it takes a number of iterations compared to the modified bisection method, whose significance stems from the fact that it saves time and effort.best.
