The aim of the study was to analyse the factors affecting the EU security strategy, the main problem of the study is the establishment of a strong political bloc on the continent of Europe and its adoption of strategies to achieve its security and stability in the light of the continuing evolution of the concept and areas of security.

What are the most important factors affecting the process of formulating the European Union’s security strategy? Based on the assumption that there are a range of internal and external factors that have influenced the formulation of the EU security strategy, the importance of the study lies in addressing one of the most important contemporary strategic issues of security and stability, the study aims to illustrate the extent and indicators of factors affecting European security, the study followed historical, analytical and descriptive methods of research, The main findings of the study include: the formulation and preparation of the EU security strategy has been influenced by a combination of internal and external factors on which European States have built their security objectives.
