The current study aimed to examine the type of correlation between emotional intelligence and self-esteem among high school students.

The sample consisted of(n=150) students (75 females and 75 males) aged 17 to 22, from two public institutions and from all academic streams in Fez’s city.

The Bar-On scale of emotional intelligence and the Rosenberg scale of self-esteem were used.

To answer the questions of this study, the t-test, one way ANOVA, and the Pearson Correlation Coefficient were used.

The findings showed that there were no statistical differences in emotional intelligence attributed to sex or study specialization, there were no statistically significant differences in self-esteem between females and males, and that there showed a significant and positive correlation between emotional intelligence and self-esteem.The study aimed to identify the proposed solutions for practicing administrative transparency among Jordanian university leaders from their point of view.

The study adopted the qualitative approach, and the researcher conducted interviews with (2) academic leaders from Jordanian universities.

The results of these interviews showed that the leaders presented five proposed solutions for practicing administrative transparency among academic leaders, including: Providing factors of trust between individuals within the university and the outside community through the dissemination of information, as trust affects the degree of concealment and reduces tension and conflict, allowing the community to evaluate the performance of the administration University through a certain mechanism, and this cannot be done without a full flow of information, providing a democratic climate, participating in decision-making in university work, activating the use of advanced information systems and employing information technology to facilitate and support openness, which in turn improves effectiveness, emphasizing the great role of academic administration in particular And the university in general has the effect of influencing people’s beliefs and convictions, and commitment to the values and ethics of public office, which contributes to building integrity systems.
