The aim of this research is to study the coercion penalty as a defect of consent, in Tunisian law, based on the idea of contractual stability, in other words, that the Tunisian legislator, when organizing the coercion penalty, used many means to make the temporary existence of the contract tainted by this defect a permanent existence, through Mechanisms intended to maintain the legal existence of the contract; And also, by reducing the legal effects of this void contract.
