Abstract EN

The study dealt with the impact of total quality management on curative services in private hospitals by applying to (Al-Faisal International Hospital - Khartoum) in the period from 2005 to 2015.

The importance of the study lies in the fact that the research fills a scientific gap and that it is one of the few researches in this field (total quality management in service management).

It also provides a reference for scholars, opens up a field for other research, and provides information that benefits decision-makers at Al-Faisal International Hospital.

The objectives of the study are to identify the intellectual and philosophical framework of total quality management in terms of its concept, importance, objectives and stages of application.

A study of the reality of total quality management in Al-Faisal International Hospital, as it is a case study.

Clarifying the relationship between the approach of total quality management and the level of services provided at Al-Faisal International Hospital.

The study followed the descriptive approach and the case study, and the study reached several results, including: 81 % of the sample members agree that total quality management is a philosophy that the hospital administration believes in.

And 23.9 % of the sample members do not agree that the hospital administration uses a clear faculty to educate employees about total quality management.

The study came out with a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: Considering the total quality management system as an approach and thought for work and the need for this approach to be consistent with the overall vision and the basic mission of Al-Faisal International Hospital.

Develop a strategic plan for the approach of total quality management at Al-Faisal International Hospital in line with the principles of total quality management.
