The study aimed to show the extent of the contribution of contemporary costing methods in reducing product costs in industrial companies, the importance of the study follows from the fact that these systems open horizons for companies to develop the work environment by choosing the best systems that serve their goals and provide the necessary ingredients for the application, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach through its statistical methods represented in the SPSS program to analyze the study tool, the questionnaire distributed to the respondents in acement company atbara during the year 2021, through the analysis, several results were reached, the most important of which are following modern procedures, methods and systems in managing and determining costs helps significantly rduce production costs, which contributes to increasing profits and support the competivie advantage of companies.
