This research aims to identify the causes and manifestations of intellectual deviation among university students, while highlighting the requirements for enhancing intellectual security among students, and the means of achieving it.

And to detect the most important obstacles to their intellectual security, in order to reach activation the university's role in achieving intellectual security for students.

The study relied on Descriptive method, Using the questionnaire form that was applied to a sample of (384) male and female students at Mansoura University.

The results of the study concluded that the university's development of the mental and creative abilities of young people and giving them the opportunity to reveal their talents is one of the most important roles of the university in enhancing intellectual security, as follows: The university corrects the students' misconceptions and develops good citizenship in them.

with the prevailing beliefs and values in their community, Finally, encouraging students to do studies on deviant behavior and thought.

The study recommended the establishment of programs, seminars, and activities in the field of enhancing intellectual security directed at students
