This Subject discusses the "scientific and cultural position in the Cyrene region in eastern Libya in the Byzantine era through the letters of Synesius of Cyrene (365-413 AD).

Then the research was conducted On the issue of science and education in the region in the Byzantine era through what the Sensius letters provided us with, with the combar of other sources, it talk about the educational stages in Schools, and receiving learning in large university cities such as Alexandria and Athens, and I talked about the scientific method for each educational stage and the type of science Which studies, including the study of literature from Homer, rhetoric, eloquence, philosophical studies, mathematics, engineering, law, astronomy, medicine, music and poetry, and talk about private libraries, and the cultural situation of the Cyrene society in this era, and the study also focused on educational role of the church in the region
