The research aims to identify the requirements for attracting foreign investment in the sports field in light of the intellectual property strategy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The researcher used the descriptive approach on a sample consist of (46) businessmen.

The data collection tool was represented by the researcher's design of a questionnaire for the requirements of attracting foreign direct investment in sports, and it included three axes and 15 phrases.

The researcher used repetition and percentage.

One of the most important results of the research is that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia possesses the laws of attracting foreign investment in sports activities and the rules and regulations that govern the investor's relationship with local organizations in general, which are consistent with the intellectual property strategy document in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It helped to attract investors with the presence of the Saudi Investment Authority, which emphasizes the protection of the investor and the resolution of any disputes that may arise between the local sports organizations and the foreign investor.

The most important results were to reach a proposed mechanism to attract investors to invest in the field of sports and to recommend holding workshops for workers in the sports sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on intellectual property and its importance.
