Abstract EN

This study focused on the impact of industrial waste water of the Chemical industries on the soil in Wad Dafiia area ,Research material was collected through laboratory analysis of wastewater resulting from factories and from Wad Dafiia station compared with the instructions of the Sudanese standard for wastewater ,and analysis of samples of soil in Wad Dafiia area , in addition to a photographs.

The results showed that waste water affected the soil in Wad Dafiia Among the most prominent signs of affected soil hight to concentrate of Sodium dissolved in soil solution ranged between 12.1-13.9 Meq/L .

compared with 4.36 Meq/L in The control sample .

The CL ranged between 100.54-195.57 Meg/L and reached 4.36 Meq/L in the control ,PH ranged between 9.97- 10.25 and 8.6 in the control and EC between 8.2-24.3 Ds/m and 1.14 Ds/m in the control as well as high of Pb, Cr , Cd , Cu, Fe , Zn and Mm .

The paper recommended that the need for factories to keep pace with global developments in the field of industrial wastewater utilization and wastewater treatment and the need to implement integrated environmental management of industry .
