It is known that the Thamudic inscriptions dealt with variety of topics, including social, economic, and political ones.

The health related topics especially diseases were among the topics that were in the Thamudic inscriptions.

I divided my paper into the following sub-titles, first: the vocabulary of the disease through the Thamudic inscriptions, and secondly mentioning evidence of organic diseases, and then third: Psychiatric diseases, then fourth: the names of some therapists.

The fifth point deals with prayers for the patient to be cured while the sixth one is the prayers of the patient for other people treatment.

Finally, the seventh point covers the proper names of sickness / diseases in the Thamudic inscriptions.

There are many signs of the disease in the Thamudic inscriptions.

This indicates the flexibility of the Arabic language and the abundance of its vocabulary.

The Thamudic inscriptions referred sometimes to the symptoms of the disease without mentioning its name.

The diseases of Thamudic people were varied; they included: chapped skin, leprosy, dental disease, insanity, and plague.

The writers of the Thamudic inscriptions concerned with praying for the patient to recover while praying against others to be infected with diseases.
