The Minaret gained its Architectural significance through its primary function as a place to proclaim the call to prayer or to raise the Adhaan through Al- Muazzeneen.

The extent of the prayer's connection to the prayer is one of the most important pillars of the religious duties of the Muslims, This function making the minaret with its height and its emblems as the special marque of Islam in any city or village.

There is no doubt that the study of the development of Egyptian Minarets is useful within the Archaeological studies specialized in Islamic Architecture.

The topic of this research is the twin Minarets in the Islamic religious Foundations in Egypt of all types, Mosque, Madrasa or Khanaqa, Such as the Minarets of Alhakem biamr allah Mosque, The Madrasa of Al Sultan Hassan, The Khanaqah of Faraj ibn Barqouq, The mosque of Al-Moayyed Sheikh Al-Mahmoudi, Al Moeniya Madrasa in Damietta, Al-Refai mosque in Cairo.

The research will clarify the Architectural and technical characteristics of these minarets.

Where the number and location of the facility attached to it, the structural situation and architectural and decorative twins, and the study depends on the following axes:
Conditions of naming the twin.

Compatibility and compatibility between twin minarets.

Technical and architectural features of twin minarets.

The research will be equipped with a number of plans and photographic plates to enrich the scientific study.
