Abstract EN

Microfinance projects occupy a special place in the economies of most countries, in all their different degrees of development and civilized progress because of their great importance in the development and growth of the economy.

Considering the economic conditions Yemen is going through, and Taiz city the city of Taiz is an important economic city and has a significant role in influencing the Yemeni economy.

The reform, it was necessary to pay attention to studying small projects in this city and seek their development and encourage the initiative to establish them.

The study aims to reveal the extent to which these projects contribute to poverty alleviation and the extent of their contribution to social sustainability, especially in Taiz Gove orate.

This study has adopted the research methodology that is based on formulating the problem, stating its importance, stating its objectives, then working on formulating hypotheses, and verifying the validity of these hypotheses.

The analytical descriptive approach was followed.

The data was obtained from primary sources; the study sample consisted of 110 cases.

The Study concluded a few positive results towards microfinance, the most important of which is revealing the importance of these projects and their effective role in developing Yemen's economy and presenting proposals that would benefit the development of microfinance projects and open the way for establishing new projects.
