The objective of this research is to determine the impact of the external environment on decision-making in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Yemen The researcher relied on the descriptive analytical approach, The data was also collected during the distribution of (53) copies of the questionnaire list to an intentional sample of leaders working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (from the director of the department and above).

The research reached a number of results, the most important of which are: There is an understanding of the variables of the external environment in the Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there is an impact of the external environment on strategic decision- making in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Yemen, The external environment variables are important to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and affect its performance.
