The research aims to know the availability of basic scienceprocesses in the science textbook for the fourth grade of primaryschool.

The researcher used content analysis for his research.

Theresearch community consisted of science books for the elementarystage in the Republic of Iraq for the academic year (2020-2021).

The research sample The content of the science book for the fourthgrade of elementary school consists of (6) units and each unitincludes two chapters, meaning the total of (12) chapters and eachsemester.

It contains a bunch of topics.

The researcher has prepared a tool for content analysis, whichis the list of science operations.

Which aims to analyze the contentof the science book for the fourth grade of primary school andmonitor the occurrences and percentage of each process afterextracting the validity and stability of the tool.

The results showed that the results of analyzing the content offourth grade science books showed that basic science processeswere included in the science book for the fourth grade of primaryschool (187) processes, and in light of the results of this research, the researcher reached a number of conclusions, recommendationsand suggestions.
