Abstract EN

this study aimed to clarify the relationship between psychological security and achievement motivation among first – year student of social sciences at that university of oran2.

to achieve the objectives of the study they relied on the descriptive approach.

For the purpose of collecting Data m two scales have been used the psychological security scale and the other achievement motivation scale.

and we calculated the validity and reliability.

The study was applied to an survey sample of 30 students and a basic scale of 100 students.

After unpacking and analyzing the results statistically.

The study concluded that there is a correlation between psychological security and achievement motivation among first- year students of social sciences.

there is differences between male and females in the level of psychological security among first- year students of social sciences, in favor of females.

And there is differences between male and females in the level of achievement motivation among first- year students of social sciences in favor of females
