This research deals with the phenomenon of blending and identification between literary genres in Arabic literature, which is represented in a number of literary works, including the novel "The Warmth of the Winter Nights" by Dr.

Abdullah Saleh Al-Arifi.

This research attempts to investigate the aspects of renewal in this novel from the identification between poetry and narration, on the one hand, and between them and the Islamic religious call, on the other hand.

The preface: In it, the researcher originated the phenomenon of renewal in literary genres, explained its aspects and connotations, and then dealt with the first topic: the poetics in the aforementioned novel.

The second topic: deals with the manifestations of renewal in the religious discourse in the novel, and its transformation from direct to indirect preaching, through advocacy by example and action.
