This research deals with one of the few modern novels that chose to address one of the most important issues، which is the issue of disability، at a time when there are rare writers who have taken this issue as an artistic and aesthetic subject.

And the novel that we have before us is a novel (around the corner from the jasmine) by its writer Muhammad Naji Abdullah، who، like others، was not satisfied with touching this issue lightly، but rather delved into the world of this category that other writers did not pay attention to، but more than this he put himself and put us with him as readers in a problematic The emergence of a love story in which the two parties are disabled، who are almost impossible to communicate between them (blind and deaf) and by diving into this world، he was able with a rare ability to discuss on the outskirts of this love story thorny issues related to this category as issues: Communication between groups of persons with disabilities، and the issue of harassment or bullying of others، to get out of all this to the most important and most common issues related to them، which is the issue of societal awareness of these special groups.

All this in an artistic form in which imagination cooperated with reality in expressing people with disabilities
