English Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the effect of the M.U.R.D.E.R strategy on the achievement of fifth graders of primary school in Arabic grammar.

To verify the objective of the research, the researcher formulated the following main hypothesis: There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the students of the two groups for the achievement test.

The researcher adopted the experimental design with two groups (experimental and control), which was designed by partial control of the post-test for both achievement and retention to suit it with the conditions of the experiment.

Intentionally, and by random drawing method, Division (A) was chosen to represent the first experimental group whose students study using the Murder strategy, and Division (B) was chosen to represent the control group whose students study using the traditional method and is not exposed to any independent variable, as the total research sample reached (30) students By (15) students in the experimental group, and (15) in the control group, and the researcher excluded the failing students from the two groups.

The researcher rewards the research groups (experimental and control) statistically in a number of variables (chronological age calculated in months, academic achievement of parents, degrees of the Arabic language for the previous school year, and intelligence) using the analysis of variance and chi-square, and after the researcher has identified the topics of the scientific material that she will study during The experiment has five topics.

The researcher formulated the behavioral goals and teaching plans, and they were presented to a group of experts and specialists.

In light of their opinions and suggestions, the necessary modifications were made, and the goals and teaching plans became ready for implementation.

The results showed as follows: * There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the students of the three research groups, and thus the first null hypothesis is rejected.
