English Abstract
The current research aims to reveal the relationship between family conflict and unrealistic optimism among science teachers.
To achieve the goal of the study, the researchers chose a sample of science teachers in a stratified random manner, which numbered (200) teachers, including (males and females) for the academic year (2021-2022), and the two research tools (family conflict, unrealistic optimism) were applied.
After verifying their psychometric properties, and when analyzing the data, the researchers used the appropriate statistical methods to achieve their goals (Pearson correlation coefficient, one-sample t-test, arithmetic mean, standard deviation) and reached the following results: There is a direct and significant correlation between family conflict and unrealistic optimism among science teachers, and in light of these results, the researcher reached a number of recommendations and suggestions.
