Abstract EN

Organ donation operations are considered one of the most important surgical interventions in the current era, in which a healthy organ is replaced with the damaged one to save the patient's life.

The current study is descriptive and analytical.

The social survey method was relied on the sampling method, and the study was based on the field side on an intentional sample of human organ donors in some Iraqi hospitals of donors and beneficiaries of the donation process and their number was (150) respondents, as well as the study relied on an intentional sample of the workers in the Iraqi health institutions, and their number was (50).

The observation tools, the processing of the data statistically (SPSS), the simple observation program, and the informal interview in recording information are used to collect and analyze data.

The most important results of the current study are: 1.

The results of the study showed that most of the sample members are males, with a percentage of (65).

It was found that most of the sample members suffer from the social effects resulting from the donation process by (59).

The results of the study showed that most of the sample members donated the kidneys, with a percentage of (63).

The results of the study showed that most of the sample members answered yes that organ donation creates solidarity and social cohesion with a percentage of (81).

The results of the study showed that most of the sample members answered yes; they feel remorse whenever they see their donor in pain (71).

Among the most important results of workers in the Ministry of Health: 1.

Most of the sample members found that the most important factor when donating is the diseases the patient suffers from (38%).
