The current research aims to analyze the content of the book on the history of the Arab Islamic civilization for the fourth literary grade in light of the levels of depth of knowledge.

To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher adopted the descriptive approach, the survey study method (content analysis).

The current research community is determined by the content of the book on the history of the Arab Islamic civilization for the fourth grade literary fourth edition (1440 AH - 2019 AD) The researcher prepared a questionnaire of indicators for the four levels of depth of knowledge for Webb (remembering and reproducing, applying concepts and skills, strategic thinking, and extended thinking).

The researcher presented the questionnaire to experts in education, teaching methods and Islamic history to extract the outward truthfulness (and after taking into account the recommendations, the questionnaire in its final form became (37) an indicator.

Then the researcher analyzed the book after confirming the validity and reliability of the tool and approved the idea as a unit for analysis and repetition as a unit for enumeration and used the percentage with repetition as statistical means.

The results of the statistical analysis resulted in the book’s inclusion of (2277) ideas, and remembering and reproduction came in first place with (941) recurrences and its percentage (41.33%), then the application of concepts and skills came second with iterations amounting to (660) and its percentage (28.99%) then Third, strategic thinking with (371) iterations and its percentage (16.29%), then finally, extended thinking with (305) frequencies and a percentage (13.29%).

In light of the results, the researcher reached a number of conclusions, recommendations and proposals.
