The current research aims to know: 1.

Emotional knowledge of primary school students.

2.Differences in emotional knowledge among primary school students according to the variables sex (male-female), orphanhood (presence of parents - absence of parents) The research sample consisted of (400) primary school students, and to achieve the objectives of the research, the researchers built a scale (emotional knowledge), which consisted of (20) paragraphs of its positions and extracted for them psychometric properties such as honesty and stability, as the stability coefficient of the (emotional knowledge) scale reached (Retest) method (0.81), while the stability extracted by (Kewder Richard) method reached (0.85), and the results were analyzed using statistical means (Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test for one sample, z-test).

Elementary school students have emotional knowledge, there are statistically significant differences according to the gender variable (male - female) in favor of males, as well as the presence of differences .

In light of the research results, the researchers recommended some recommendations and suggested some suggestions.
