Abstract EN

Arabic rhetoric is one of the sciences that have a great importance in the arabic lesson, it is concerned with poetry and prose, but the holy Quran was most of the discourses on which scholars discussed, and they deduced its pillars and rules, due to the rhetorical and liguistic characteristic that this book contained.

This article aims to try to know the rhetorical the contributions of arabic scholars especially Ibn Jinni and Al-Mubarrad.

We have devoted these two models because they come in the begining of rhetorical composition, and to the fact that they were among the arab encyclopedists who were known for their numerous scientific contributions in various arabic science.

The novelty in the simile topics, the goodness and the euphemism for Al-Mubarrad, and yhe issue of pronunciation and meaning of Ibn Jinni
