This study aimed to clarify the reality of the application of knowledge management processes at the College of Computer and Information Sciences at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and the obstacles to their application, and to identify the statistically significant differences in the reality of the application of knowledge management processes at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences from the point of view of the teaching staff in terms of gender and academic degree.

And years of experience and come up with recommendations that may help decision makers in the college or university in developing and applying knowledge management.

The descriptive (survey) approach was used; A three-part questionnaire was used: the first part relates to the personal data of the study community members, the second part relates to the reality of the application of knowledge management processes from the viewpoint of the teaching staff at the College of Computer and Information Sciences at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, and the third and final part relates to the obstacles to the application of knowledge management processes from the viewpoint of the faculty of Computer Science.

The retrieved questionnaires amounted to (51) questionnaires.

Among the most important findings of this study: The viewpoint of faculty members at the College of Computer and Information Sciences with regard to the reality of knowledge management application was neutral, and the dimension of "knowledge capture" topped all dimensions of knowledge management processes, while the dimension of "knowledge application" ranked last.

With regard to the most important obstacles to the application of knowledge management processes at the College of Computer and Information Sciences, an obstacle (the absence of an organizational unit [management] concerned with the application of knowledge management, and the lack of awareness of the concept of knowledge management and the importance of its practice) came out of all the obstacles.

The study ended with number of recommendations.
