Abstract EN

This study attempts to discuss how and to what extent Algerian national security is affected by the geopolitical circles surrounding it, especially in the African Sahel region.

And the position of each of the departments within the security concerns of the Algerian state and the Algerian efforts to secure the region and monitor its African geopolitical neighborhood.

By highlighting the close relationship between security and stability in the Sahel region and Algerian national security, and one of the most important findings of the study is a re-reading of the African geopolitical reality with a design and a proactive security vision that takes into account the new variables, which calls for strengthening the defense system according to a mechanism that guarantees border safety.
