The spread of communication and information technology(ICT) has prompted governments to think of transforming their transactions technically into the so-called e-government.

This study attempts to reveal one of the most important tools for implementing e-government in Egypt, which is the documents and forms used to provide services through the Egyptian government portal, which will undoubtedly help to Overcoming many problems that may hinder the application, and then provide the best electronic services to the beneficiaries, and accordingly, the study aimed to reveal the documents and forms used, their types, characteristics, ways to obtain them, their problems, the available information, and the procedures required to implement the services provided by the e-government The Egyptian government through its online portal, by analyzing these documents and forms and the procedures associated with them through the portal, and their suitability to achieve the general vision of the Egyptian e-government, and its declared goals for citizens, because the urgent need to update and unify the regulatory frameworks that govern electronic document management made These electronic documents have a special electronic pattern in the wa;ys of dealing with the different types of documents used by the Ministry Government agencies and agencies on the e-government portals of the world's countries.
