In today's world of globalization, technology is part of many people's daily activities.

Decision-makers have elicited the information that integrates with the decision-making process through the Internet.

In addition, many tools that integrate into diverse forms to make technology applicable to the decision-making process become more efficient.

The future of institutions now depends on the ability and efficiency of decision-makers to anticipate the future based on several assistive methodologies that facilitate the decision-making process.

The current study acquires its importance from knowledge maps and data mining that contribute to the decision-making process, achieving the integrative interdependence between the decision and its decision-makers and the final fate, and how to deal with knowledge maps based on data mining to avoid their misuse and to investigate the best recommendations to ensure the success of the decision-making process through Knowledge maps based on data mining in a way that achieves the goals of intelligent organizations.

The study aims to clarify the importance of knowledge maps and data mining in the decision-making process in smart institutions and whether they will help improve the quality of the decisions taken.

Accordingly, the study relied on the descriptive developmental approach to frame a proposed methodology for building knowledge maps based on data mining.

It has Acceptable designs and developmental principles, comprehensive roots in the literature and theory, and empirical tests demonstrating their efficacy.

The study shed light on the challenges and issues associated with the use of knowledge maps and data mining to develop solutions that contributed to rational decision-making.

The study was also able to develop recommendations for what should be considered whether from researchers when designing similar solutions or from officials when planning to use them to be very effective.
