Abstract EN

This paper aims to investigate the curriculum of the Academy of Arabic Language in Makkah Almukarramah on the Worldwide Web and its efforts to serve the Arabic language.

Results indicated that the Academy follows a clear method in its decisions, warnings, research, articles, fatwas, and news, which led to a work that meets objectives and thus facilitates the job of scholars, researchers, and learners.

Actually, the current paper focuses on the issues 1-21 of The Journal of the Arabic Language in Makkah Al Mukarramah by shedding light on its sections and publication requirements.

It also gives examples of reviewer decisions and comments, on the one hand, and reviews research, articles and a number of published poems to evaluate their impact in serving Arabic language, on the other hand.

It also focuses on the Academy’s benefits from the digital technology which helps achieving its goals.

Practically speaking, the Academy set up its website which contains numerous numbers of articles, studies, meetings, and multiple forums.

It opens horizons for scholars and researchers to participate.

It also benefited from the social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp) to publish its materials and news.

Furthermore, it opened a new field of online education to teach the Arabic language through the Sibawayh Online Institute for the Arabic Language, which worked on preparing various and varied training courses (in both languages Arabic and English) to teach the Arabic language.

This institute includes more than (3000) enrolled trainees from various countries and offered a weekly meeting held every Saturday afternoon with Arabic scholars and researchers, which deals with varied issues This study shows that the Academy of the Arabic Language in Makkah Al-Mukarramah on the Worldwide Web has mapped out a clear approach to achieve its goals, and thus gained the attention of many Arabic language scholars, researchers, and students.

Furthermore, it made great efforts to serve the Arabic language, represented by the Journal of the Academy which is a distinctive model in its ideas, topics, and numbers.

It is accredited from the Arab Impact Factor and Reference Factor (ARCIF) that are compatible with the international standards among (500) Arab journals which succeeded to meet these standards.

Likewise, the journal is classified within the high middle category (second Q2) as it contains distinguished linguistic and educational materials.

Finally, the achieved benefits come as a result of the inclusion of digital technology that supports the realizing the goals of the Academy in the most complete and optimal manner.
