Abstract EN

This study aims to analyze the reality of tourism indicators in Algeria by comparing them with Morocco and Tunisia during the period 2010-2020, whereby these indicators are judged on the extent of development and progress of the country in tourism.

through this study, we concluded that despite all the tourism potentials enjoyed by Algeria, the performance of this sector did not rise to the required level and still weak in terms of indicators unlike the tourism sector in Morocco and Tunisia, which is considered more vibrant and developed, Algeria classed after Morocco and Tunisia in all the tourism indicators.

the impact of Coronavirus had a clear and negative impact on the performance of the tourism sector, as the number of tourists and tourism revenues declined terribly.
