In This article, we deal with the phenomenon of visual composition in the poetry of Oqab Belkheir Diwan of Transformations as a model, and it is one of the most important issues that contemporary criticism has worked on.

Indeed, the poet's resort to the visual image is not arbitrary; It rather carries many connotations linking the receiver to the poetic text, being a producer of of this text.

The contemporary Algerian poet nowdays bases his text on artistic aesthetic criteria filled with connotations in formulating his poetic experience in an effort to excite the receiver.

Perhaps the book " ikab " " punishment" carries a number of semiotic connotations transmitted between the folds of its text that may be reflected on the receiver and contribute to the formation of the meaning.
