Abstract EN

Amidst the growing concern about developments in oil prices and their repercussions on the Algerian economy, our study of the issue of the impact of oil price fluctuations on the classification of financial risks in Algeria comes to light, based on the descriptive and analytical approach, the most important determinants of oil prices and their effects on the global economy have been identified, as well as highlighting the importance and methodology of international agencies classification Financial risk, which is one of the indicators of country risk.

This study also deals with oil prices and the financial risk index in Algeria during the period 2000-2019, as well as analyzing the impact of oil price fluctuations on the financial risk variables in Algeria during this period.

This study concluded that there is an interrelation between the stability of the financial indicators of the Algerian economy and the energy sector.

The large effects of the drop in oil prices reflected it on many financial indicators.
